Lady Cougar Softball

The Lady Cougars took on Holland Hornets in a district match on March 16 and sent them packing after the Cougars’ first win of the district season. The girls gave it their all and crushed the Hornets 16-4. Senior Emma Herring knocked it out of the park with a home run hit. Coach Turner said, “Emma led the team in hits and RBIs in our district win against Holland. She even hit her first home run!” Scores from Tuesday’s game against Granger will be available next week. Their next match will take place on Friday, March 26 at 6 p.m. at Cougar Field against Bartlett.
