Lady Cougars defeat Granger

The Lady Cougars got a big win over Granger on Sept. 5 in five sets. Coach Amanda Spencer said she was very proud of every one of the girls for this true team win. Match leaders were Emma Hering with 23 kills and four blocks, Hannah Willberg with 10 kills, Kayley Robertson with 32 assists and six aces, and Jackie Salazar led with 12 digs. Fabiola Fajardo also had crucial service aces. The ladies won the first set 25-15. They then dropped the next two to Granger before winning the last two sets 25-19 and 15-12.
