Lady Cougars finish in first at District Track Meet

The Rosebud-Lott boys and girls track teams participated in the District Track Meet in Holland on Monday, March 31, and Thursday, April 3.

The girls came in first place with 199 points. Several competitors will head on to the Area Meet in Flatonia on April 10.

Results were:

Elizabeth Rousseau - 5th in pole vault

Lakia Cummings - 4th in 200m dash, 2nd in 100m dash

Emery Easter - 4th in long jump, 3rd in 400m dash

Kinsley Edwards - 3rd in discus

Destany Smith - 4th in high jump, 6th in 400m dash

Jaylah Whitfield - 6th in discus

Brooklyn Ballard - 3rd in shot put

Chelsey Easter - 2nd in shot put

Aniah Cavitt - 2nd in high jump

Luz Herrera-Casto - 4th in 300m hurdles, 4th in pole vault

D'Nyzah Wells - 4th in triple jump, 1st in long jump

A'laya Cavitt - 2nd in triple jump, 5th in long jump, 4th in 200m dash

Jayana Green - 4th in 100m hurdles, 6th in triple jump, 5th in 300m hurdles

Lily Waldrop - 5th in 800m run, 6th in 1600m run

Brooke Skala - 2nd in long jump, 3rd in 100m dash

Alexis Hines - 1st in pole vault, 1st in 300m hurdles, 1st in high jump

4x100m relay - 1st: D'Nyzah Wells, Aniah Cavitt, Brooke Skala, Alexis Hines

4x200m relay - 2nd: Brooke Skala, Alexis Hines, Aniah Cavitt, A'laya Cavitt

4x400m relay - 1st: Princess Ponce, Luz Herrera-Casto, Aniah Cavitt, A'laya Cavitt

The boys finished in third place with 126 points.

Results were: Aiden Dominguez Cruz - 6th in 3200m run 

Brayden Warner - 6th in shot put

Ta'Marion Travis - 6th in triple jump

Lance Flanary - 3rd in pole vault

Pryce Rabroker  - 2nd in high jump

Daniel Rincon - 2nd in pole vault, 6th in 100m dash

Kaleb Chaney - 5th in 100m dash

Kaiden Vandiver-Waits - 4th in 100m hurdles

Marcellis Cummings - 5th in 300m hurdles 

Garrett Cook - 2nd in discus, 4th in shot put 

Waylon Thigpen - 5th in long jump, 3rd in 100m dash

Carson Kahlig - 3rd in long jump

Carson Bethke - 3rd in 110m hurdles, 1st in 300m hurdles

4x100m relay - 2nd: Gustavo Loera, Eli Chaney, Kaleb Chaney, Daniel Rincon

4x200m relay - 2nd: Gustavo Loera, Waylon Thigpen, Carson Kahlig, Ta'Marion Travis

4x400m relay - 2nd: Carson Kahlig, Ta'Marion Travis, Waylon Thigpen, Dustin Reaux

Their next meet will be the Area Meet hosted by Flatonia on Thursday, April 10.
