Lady Cougars wrap up hoops season

They entered the season with all people around the team feeling they would be in a rebuilding mode this season in basketball. They returned very little experience from last season and would be depending on several underclassmen to step into the starting lineup.

The fact that they finished second in district demonstrates the level of consistent play they managed night after night. Coach Williams and the young ladies from Rosebud-Lott are to be commended for the efforts they gave and the performances they came up with during the season. Their first round defeat to the Axtell Longhorns doesn’t take away from the things the young ladies managed to accomplish.
