Rosebud-Lott track teams compete at District, Area track meets

The Rosebud-Lott Cougars competed at the District and Area Track meet over the past several weeks.

The Cougars came in second place at the District meet with 127 points.

Results were:

Jordyn Barrientos: 6th in pole vault

Konnor Pruitt: 4th in pole vault

Wesley Wagner: 6th in shot put

Daniel Rodriguez: 2nd in discus

Garrett Cook: 5th in discus

Wyatt Coker: 6th in 3200 M run

Lance Flanary: 6th in 800 M run

Logan Keypas: 6th in 400 M dash

Moses Fox: 2nd in 400 M dash

Yahir Mendoza: 3rd in 300 M hurdles

JD Walker: 3rd in 110 M hurdles, 6th in 300 M hurdles

Kato Mattair: 1st in 110 M hurdles, 5th in 300 M hurdles

Carson Kahlig: 6th in long jump, 5th in 200 M dash

Kyle Finan: 5th in high jump, 2nd in triple jump

Breon Lewis: 2nd in high jump, 3rd in triple jump

Jamarquis Johnson: 1st in triple jump, 1st in long jump

Moses Fox, Kyle Finan, Breon Lewis, Jamarquis Johnson: 1st in 4x100 relay

Jayden Thomas, Kyle Finan, Breon Lewis, Jamarquis Johnson: 5th in 4x200 relay

Jayden Thomas, Kyle Finan, Moses Fox, Jamarquis Johnson: 5th in 4x400 relay

The girls came in fifth place with 72 points. Results were as follows:

Jacqueline Landrum: 5th in 100 M hurdles

Brooke Skala: 6th in 100 M dash

Chelsey Easter: 6th in shot put

Kinsley Edwards: 2nd in discus

Yoselin Aldana: 3rd in 3200 M run

Jacqueline Salazar: 6th in 200 M dash

Mariah Bouvier: 4th in 1600 M run, 5th in 800 M run

Mercedes Buhl: 6th in high jump, 3rd in triple jump

Aniah Cavitt, Bailey Cannon, Brooke Skala, Mercedes Buhl: 4th in 4x100 relay

Aniah Cavitt, Jimena Degollado, Brooke Skala, Mercedes Buhl: 2nd in 4x200 relay

Aniah Cavitt, Jimena Degollado, Yoselin Aldana, Luz Herrera: 4th in 4x400 relay

At Area the boys came in sixth place with 54 points.

Konnor Pruitt: 5th in pole vault

Kyle Finan: 4th in triple jump

JD Walker: 4th in 110 M hurdles

Kato Mattair: 2nd in 110 M hurdles

Breon Lewis: 2nd in high jump, 1st in triple jump

Jamarquis Johnson: 2nd in triple jump, 1st in long jump

The girls came in 10th place with 17 points.

Mariah Bouvier: 5th in 1600 M run, 4th in 800 M run
