çIt has been a good week for the Rosebud- Lott Cougars basketball team as they won two games they needed to win after dropping a game to the Moody Bearcats last Friday. At 5-4 in district play the Cougars found themselves in a position of hanging on for their playoff lives. Another defeat may end their season hopes of participating in the playoff dance.
They find themselves in a dog fight with Moody, Crawford, and Valley Mills and all of them are chasing unbeaten Bosqueville. By my count that’s five teams for just four playoff spots, something has to give and the Coogs are trying hard not to be the team that blinks.
