Cougars season ends in loss to Johnson City

The Rosebud-Lott Cougars baseball team traveled to Thrall High School on Friday April 11 to take on the Johnson City Eagles in the bi-district round of the playoffs. The Cougars were shut out by the Eagles, losing 3-0 to bring their season to an end. Rosebud-Lott put up a tremendous fight, but fell short in the low scoring game. Johnson City scored one run in the first inning, one in the fourth inning, and one in the fifth inning to win 3-0.

Lady Cougars compete in state track meet

Members of the Rosebud- Lott girls track teams participated in the state track meet hosted by the University of Texas in Mike A. Myers field on Friday May 2. D’Nyzah Wells finished 7th in the long jump. The 4x100m relay that consisted of D’Nyzah Wells, Aniah Cavitt, Brooke Skala, Alexis Hines finished in 8th place and hit a personal record with a time of 49.54. Congratulations to these Lady Cougars on a fantastic season and making it all the way to the state track meet.

LADY COUGARS STATE BOUND

Many Lady Cougars are headed to the state track meet on May 2nd. That includes Da’Nyzah Wells with a long jump of 17’ 7.25” and the 4x100M Relay team. The girls were second in the Regional Finals with a 50.25. Congratulations to the Lady Cougars on a fantastic regional.
