The Rosebud-Lott Cougars competed at the District and Area Track meet over the past several weeks.
The Cougars came in second place at the District meet with 127 points.
POWERLIFTING
The Boys Powerlifting team concluded their season at the highest level of competition last weekend.
With a total lifted weight of 820 pounds, Rosebud-Lott’s Illeana Rodriguez won the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association Class 2A 123-pound girls state title last Wednesday.
The Lady Cougars fell to Holland on Monday. The ladies took on Bremond on Tuesday and are set to play Thorndale on March 21.
The Rosebud-Lott Cougar Powerlifitng team was very successful at the Regaional Meet last weekend. Carlos Saucedo was first place and qualified for State.
