The Rosebud-Lott Cougars held a scrimmage against Axtell on Friday night to kick off the season and get some practice in. The Cougars travel to Snook next Thursday for their next scrimmage.
Several Cougars and Lady Cougars were named to the All-District list for softball and baseball.
Softball
Rosebud-Lott’s Jamarquis Johnson won the silver medal in the long jump at the UIL State Track Meet on Friday in Austin.
Jamarquis Johnson punched another ticket to State, winning the Silver Medal in the Triple Jump at the Regional Track Meet last week.
State will be May 12 and 13 in Austin.
