GOLF Boys and girls golf teams were in action at Battle Lake Golf Course last week. Boys finished 2nd and the girls finished 4th. Brady Hering finished 2nd overall and Regan Willberg finished 3rd overall. Summer Slovacek finished 4th overall.

The Mooreville United Methodist Church congregation held a dinner Saturday, March 2, to recognize firefighters and their families of the Bruceville-Eddy, Chilton, Marlin, Lott, Golinda, Rosebud and Lorena Volunteer Fire Departments.
Cougar Classic Baseball Tournament was held this past weekend and the Cougars started things off with wins over Granger, Mart and Wortham. However, Cougar Baseball finished up the Cougar Classic tournament as the runner up after losing to a very good Groesbeck team. Let’s Play Ball!
