D. Brown Library adds new books to shelves

Please join us for our new Little Readers Storytime, starting on Thursday, Jan. 16, and happening weekly after that! Storytime starts at 11:30 a.m. and is best suited for children six and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult. You do not need a library card for your child to participate!

New items:

“Lethal Agent” by Vince Flynn- An unprecedented and terrifying bioterrorism plot threatens to kill millions in the midst of a divisive presidential election in this new thriller from the #1 New York Times bestselling Mitch Rapp series.

“The Good Neighbor” by Maxwell King- The first full-length biography of Fred Rogers, this book tells the story of this utterly unique and enduring American icon. Drawing on original interviews, oral histories, and archival documents, Maxwell King traces Rogers’s personal, professional, and artistic life through decades of work.

“Blue Moon” by Lee Child- Reacher is on a Greyhound bus, minding his own business, with no particular place to go, and all the time in the world to get there. Then he steps off the bus to help an old man who is obviously just a victim waiting to happen. But you know what they say about good deeds. Now Reacher wants to make it right.

“Wild Kratts: Lion Pride” - The Wild Kratts have a rumble with the king of the jungle when they try to take care of three lion cubs on the African savannah. Will the brothers’ Creature Power be enough to keep the playful cubs out of trouble?

The library is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and computers are turned off at 5 p.m. We offer print, fax, and copy services.

To use the public computers and Wi-fi you must show a valid ID or library card at the front desk. Library cards are available to any adult residing in Falls County, and any child over 10 with parent’s permission!
