FALLS COUNTY FELONY DOCKET

On August 12, 2021, Judge Bryan F. Russ, Jr. convened court to hear felony matters presented by District Attorney Jody Gilliam.  The following felony cases were disposed of:  

 

2nd Degree Felony (2 to 20 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Uriel Torres, 25, from Waco, pled guilty to solicitation of prostitution to a minor under 18 years of age. He was placed on 7 years deferred probation, assessed a $2,000.00 fine. Ordered to register as a sex offender. Torres was arrested on June 7, 2019, by Texas Department of Public Safety. 

 

3rd Degree Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Neda Annette Hampton, 48, from Marlin, pled guilty to tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair. She was placed on 5 years deferred probation, assessed a $1,500.00 fine, ordered to complete 180 hours of community service. Hampton was arrested on April 29, 2021, by Lott Police Department. 

Waymond Charles Kinney, 34, from Marlin, pled guilty to assault family violence with previous conviction. He was sentenced to 10 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Kinney was arrested on March 19, 2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

 

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Gabriel Rachelle Mayo, 29, from Burnet, pled guilty to possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine, less than one gram. She was sentenced to 20 months confinement In a State Jail Facility. Mayo was arrested on August 22, 2020, by Lott Police Department.
