FALLS COUNTY FELONY DOCKET

On June 16, 2022, Judge Bryan F. Russ, Jr convened court to hear felony matters presented by District Attorney Jody Gilliam.  The following cases were disposed of:  

 

1st Degree Felony (5 to 99 years or life, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

David Medrano, 68, from Rosebud, pled guilty to aggravated sexual assault of a child X2. He was sentenced to 8 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system. Medrano was arrested on February 15, 2022, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

 

2nd Degree Felony (2 to 20 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

John Thomas Stubblefield, 47, from Georgetown, who had been placed on probation for the offense of possession of Methamphetamine, over four grams but less than two hundred grams, was revoked and sentenced to 7 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. 

Sherwin Womack, 31, from Marlin, who had been placed on probation for the offense of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. 

 

3rd Degree Felony (2 to 10 years, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Sherwin Womack, 31, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, over one gram but less than four grams. He was sentenced to 5 years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Womack was arrested on April 10, 2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

Dreyfuss Deshun Bailey, 40, from Rosebud, pled guilty to failure to comply with sex offender registration. He was placed on 10 years deferred probation and assessed a $2,000.00 fine and ordered to complete 180 hours of community service. Bailey was arrested on October 21, 2021, by Rosebud Police Department. 

Carl Ray Graves, 30, from Marlin, who had been placed on probation for the offense of possession of cocaine over one gram but less than four grams, was revoked and sentenced to 6 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. 

State Jail Felony (6 to 24 months, up to $10,000.00 fine.)

Randy Lynn McCoy, 41, from Normangee, pled guilty to possession of methamphetamine, less than one gram. He was sentenced to 20 months in a State Jail Facility. McCoy was arrested on February 6, 2020, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

Don Porch, 41, from Kosse, who had been placed on probation for the offense of possession of methamphetamine, less than one gram was revoked and sentenced to 18 months in a State Jail Facility.
