FALLS COUNTY MISDEMEANOR DOCKET

On February 16,2022, Judge Jay Elliott convened court to hear misdemeanor cases.  The following cases were disposed of others were reset.

Class A Misdemeanors

• Sirilo Estrada, 40, from Waco, who had been placed on probation for the offense of assault causes bodily injury family violence, was revoked, and sentenced to 60 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. 

• Sirilo Estrada, 40, from Waco, who had been placed on probation for the offense of interfere with emergency request, was revoked, and sentenced to 60 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. 

Class B Misdemeanors

• Anthony Dawson, 40, from Marlin, pled guilty to criminal trespass. He was sentenced to 3 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. Dawson was arrested on December 05, 2021, by Marlin Police Department.

• Jeremy Degrate, 38, from Marlin, pled guilty criminal trespass. He was sentenced to 3-day confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 3 days. He was ordered to pay court costs. Degrate was arrested on December 13, 2021, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.  

• Darren Dawkins, 21, from Waco, pled guilty to possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 180 days confinement in the Falls County Jail. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on 12 months’ probation, assessed a $500.00 Fine. He was also ordered to pay court costs. Dawkins arrested on August 07, 2021, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office. 

• Norman Scaggs, 35, from Marlin, pled guilty to driving while license invalid. He was sentenced to 2 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 5 days. He was ordered to pay court costs. Scaggs was arrested on April 09, 2021, by Marlin Police Department. 

• Eduardo Marquez, 20, from Chilton, who had been placed on probation for the offense of possession of marijuana less than two ounces, was revoked and sentenced to 4 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 4 days.
