FALLS COUNTY MISDEMEANORS

On September 14, 2022, Judge Jay Elliott convened court to hear misdemeanor cases.  The following cases were disposed of, others were reset.

Class A Misdemeanors

• Christopher Harrell, 47, from Marlin, pled guilty to evading arrest detention. He was sentenced to 45 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 59 days. He was ordered to pay court costs. Harrell was arrested on July 18, 2022, by Marlin Police Department. . 

Class B Misdemeanors

• Christopher Harrell, 47, from Marlin, pled guilty to possession of marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 45 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 59 days. He was ordered to pay court costs. Harrell was arrested on July 18, 2022, by Marlin Police Department.   

• Christopher Harrell, 47, from Marlin, pled guilty to criminal trespass. He was sentenced to 45 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 59 days. He was ordered to pay court costs. Harrell was arrested on July 18, 2022, by Marlin Police Department.   

• Bruce Shelley, Jr, 29, from Marlin, pled guilty possession of a marijuana less than two ounces. He was sentenced to 2 days confinement in the Falls County Jail with credit for 2 days. Shelley was arrested on July 30, 2020, by Falls County Sheriff’s Office.
