Old Settlers and Veterans Assc. Is making a comeback

An important piece of Falls County history is making a comeback thanks to the Old Settlers and Veterans Association.

An 18-acre piece of land in Tomlinson Hill is where the association has been based since it beginning.

The land was sold to the association by the Tomlinson family, who where also one of the first settlers of what we know of Falls county today. There were people hear before them, however, the original settlers where pushed out by the Native Americans, and Mexican troops during the Mexican American war.
