Chelsea Easter grabbed second place with a 38’8” shot put throw at the Regional Track Meet to advance to State. Easter will throw on Friday, May 15, at 12:30 p.m. at the Mike A. Myers Track and Soccer Stadium in Austin.
Rosebud-Lott High School has announced its Top 10% for the Class of 2026. Brooke Skala has been named the Valedictorian and Addison Wilde the Salutatorian for the Class of 2026 Other members of the Top 10% include Luz Herrera, Braxton Mast, and Katarina Powell.

Geronimo Power has announced the start of its commercial operations at Blevins Solar Project in Falls County. Covering approximately 2,300 acres, Blevins is a 270-magawatt solar project within the ERCOT market designed to deliver reliable, low-cost power to the state.
The 45th annual Rosebud High School Golden Years reunion was held in Rosebud on Saturday, April 11, 2026, and members of Preservation Rosebud opened the museum for a reception to honor them. President Les Heugatter greeted the arriving guests. Over sixty visitors mingled with friends and Preservation Rosebud board members Greg and Marla Wallace, Fran Heugatter, James Prothro, Alfred Martinez, and Joe and Sharon Saunders.
