I would like to take time out as we end the school year for 2017- 18 and give a word of thanks and appreciation to the coaches and athletes from all the schools it has been my pleasure to cover.
Some years ago there was a shipwreck off the Pacific Northwest coast. A crowd of fishermen in a nearby village gathered to watch the ship as it was smashed on the rocks.
God set the law of sowing and reaping into the universe. It not only works with tomatoes, corn and apples, it also operates in our lives.
Someone wiser than myself once said, “Be wary giving advice, wise men don’t need it and the foolish won’t heed it”.
On the first day back to school this past year our new principal came up with what I feel is a great motto for one’s everyday life.
