The 2025 volleyball regular season is coming to a close. Playoffs begin on October 30. Most area teams have finished their regular schedule, or will finish by next Tuesday. Here’s a look at last week’s results.

Cross-Country Regionals Held in Huntsville and Corpus Christi

Several athletes in our coverage area will be moving on to the state crosscountry meet next weekend in Round Rock, after competing in the regional CC meet this past week in Huntsville. The Top 4 teams and the Top 10 individual runners not on a qualifying team, advanced to the state meet according to UIL rules.

Friday Night High School Football Results and Previews for Week 10

This week marks the end of season for some teams, while others have one more game remaining on their schedule for the first week in November. This last Friday night provided a little clarity on who will be in the playoffs. However, it also showed that some of these playoff races are still too close to call, and we’ll have to wait until the last week to see.
