Three area teams – Chilton, Milano, and Thorndale – all competed in crosscountry meets around central Texas this past week. Thorndale’s varsity girls came in eighth out of 16 schools at the Salado Tenroc HS XC Invitational 2025, last Thursday at Tenroc Ranch in Salado. Raven Sandoval finished in the top 15 at 15th place with a time of 12:32.99, while teammate Skielee Bear made it in the top 20 at No. 19, with a time of 12:37.75, to lead the varsity girls team. Jamie Llanas (33rd - 18:12.23), and Jose Macias (42nd 18:47.32) both finished in the top 50 of the 1A-4A Boys Varsity 5k Run.
