Many of the areas teams are coming off tournament play from the previous weekend, only to turn around and do it again this past weekend. We even have a team (Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougars) competing as far away as Hawaii! That’s – let me calculate – somewhere between 3,700 to 3,900 miles, depending on destination! They’ll be in familiar company, as a few other teams from Texas will be joining them in the tournament.
Lots of great high school football action around the area, as the 2025 season got underway. In Week 1, Buckholts, Chilton, Rosebud-Lott, and Thorndale picked up opening wins. Now it’s on to Week 2, so let’s see who’ll face who this Friday night. Check it out!
