Falls County Trash and Tire Day Announced
The Falls County Commissioners Court met on March 23, 2026, Judge Jay Elliott presiding. Commissioners present were Milton Albright (Pct. 1), F. A. Green (Pct. 2), Jason Willberg (Pct. 3) and Nita Wuebker (Pct. 4). ADA Steve Sharp was also in attendance Minutes were approved from the March 9, 2026 meeting. In other matters, Commissioners approved (1) Adoption of the Title VI/Nondiscrimination Plan, Title VI and related statutes Nondiscrimination Statement and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and related federal and state regulations Transition Plan, (2) Ensuring lines placed in the right of way of County Roads do not interfere with road maintenance, the adoption of the road cut and utility/pipeline locations was approved for CR 368 and (3) the Racial Profiling Report submitted by Constable Marion Humphrey, Pct. 2. It was noted it is not the policy of this agency to make traffic stops in the routine performance of the officers’ official duties.

Preservation Rosebud Plans Open House for Golden Years Alumni and Rosebud Community
Preservation Rosebud has welcomed returning alumni who come to Rosebud for the Golden Years Reunion since the Class of ’64 was the honor class. This year the museum will be open for extended hours to also welcome the community of Rosebud to visit the museum. For many people, this will be their first time to actually step inside the doors and see the renovations first hand. If you’ve driven by the building with the two fire trucks outside and wondered what’s inside, now is your chance to find out. Look for the colorful “Open” flag flying outside and join us.
Cougars Place 2nd Overall at State Powerlifting Meet
Out of out 420 schools in the state of Texas (1A & 2A are included with division 4), the Rosebud- Lott Cougars finished second overall at the State Powerlifting Meet in Abilene.
