Read Across America Week at Rosebud-Lott Elementary

Last week, Rosebud-Lott Elementary students (and staff!) participated in “Read Across America Week,” also known as “Dr. Seuss Week,” in honor of the beloved author’s March 2 birthday. Dress up day themes included Fox in Sox (crazy sock day), My Many Colored Days (wear as many colors as you can), If I Ran a Zoo (wear animal print or shirt with favorite animal), The Lorax (wear a mustache and orange or yellow shirt), and Cat in the Hat (wear a striped shirt and your favorite hat). Here are a few pictures shared by RL Elementary Counselor Kristy Barton.

Falls County Sheriff’s Office Stats for Feb.

Falls County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) shared their stats from February via the Sheriff’s Connect App on Monday, March 2, noting, “We added a couple of metrics that people have asked about, namely the amount of traffic stops conducted and the amount of money the Falls County Jail has brought in by housing contract inmates for other counties since our jail was certified as in compliance with state standards.”
