The City of Rosebud Municipal Court has announced any court sessions slated for Wednesday, May 20 have been officially rescheduled for June 17, 2026.
The 2025-2026 Rosebud- Lott ISD Leader in Me Portfolio competition winners are Perry Lorenz - High School 11th/12th, Tamryn Stock - High School 9th/10th, Maci Hochstedler - Middle School, and Coy Jahns - Elementary. The students put a great deal of time and effort into their presentations, highlighting all they’ve accomplished this year personally and academically. The district had a panel of guest judges who volunteered their time and each of them were very complimentary of the students and district as a whole. It’s a great day to be a Cougar!
Gov. Greg Abbott activated state emergency response resources earlier this week as a major storm system targeted Rosebud and the broader Central Texas region.
Last week, a pipeline near the area of the Rosebud-Lott School District started to leak, raising safety concerns. The Falls County Sheriff’s Department released a statement regarding the leak, the district said, letting the community know that the pipeline leak was not a threat to the safety of the students, staff or parents.
