Doreen Randig, age 95, of Bartlett, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Doreen was born on March 22, 1930, in London, England. On August 27, 1955, she married Edmund Randig of Pflugerville in London. Together they built a life rooted in love and family in Pflugerville. They lived and worked on their farm for many years before moving to Bartlett. Doreen had a deep love for sewing, knitting, and reading. She lovingly created quilts and Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for every new addition to her growing family, a tradition cherished by generations. Her handmade creations, quilts, covers, and more?were woven with care and warmth. Coffee was her constant companion, and a cup was always nearby. She is survived by her children: Susan (Patrick) Michalewicz, Sharon Randig, Dale Randig, and Glen (Jody) Randig; grandchildren: Kimberly (Chris) Higgins, John (Kelsey) Michalewicz, Andrew (Melissa) Michalewicz, Dustin Randig, Laura Randig, Devin Randig, Shane (Katie) Randig, Collin Randig, and Katie Randig; great-grandchildren: Kammie (Nathan), Collin, James, Michael, Elijah, Justus, Jadyn, Brooklyn, Madeleine, Eli, Dustin, Joselyn, Jacob, Ezra, Maddox, Olivia, Edmund, and Aurora; and great-great-grandchildren: Kinsley, Haisley, and Grayson.
